World-renowned Méribel is a superb ski resort built entirely in tasteful chalet-style, even the sports centre built for the 1992 Winter Olympics looks like a giant chalet.
Lying in the heart of les Trois Vallées, reputedly the world's largest skiing area, Méribel is made up of a number of separate areas including Mottaret, Les Allues, Méribel Village, Nantgerel and La Raffort.
Méribel has 61 ski lifts serving 74 runs totalling 93 miles. Slopes are well maintained throughout the season with a fleet of piste bashers working all night with hundreds of snow cannons helping keep the slopes in immaculate condition.
The interconnected area gives access to a further 375 miles of slopes with over 200 lifts serving them. There are countless off-piste opportunities.
